Shannon’s Story
Hi, I’m Shannon! Before becoming a real estate agent in 2019, I spent 22 years teaching Health, PE, and Mindfulness classes after earning my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education. Teaching allowed me to mentor others and help them make positive, informed choices—a passion that still drives me today.
I’ve also dabbled in sales, working with single-cup coffee makers before they became a household staple (hello, Keurig fans!). I loved the challenge of selling a product I truly believed in, and it’s that same passion I bring to helping people find or sell their homes.
Combining my love for relationships, teaching, and home trends, I joined forces with Dean to create Forward Journey, where we make buying and selling real estate smooth, exciting, and rewarding.
Dean’s Story
I’m Dean! I’ve been a licensed real estate professional since 1998, and I’ve seen it all—from managing rental properties to flipping over 100 homes. My journey has also included earning a Broker license and becoming a Mortgage Loan Originator, which gave me a deep understanding of the financial side of real estate.
In 2019, I decided to team up with Shannon and bring our complementary skills together to form Forward Journey. Whether it’s a first home, an investment property, or something in between, I’m passionate about guiding clients through impactful life decisions and building lasting relationships along the way.
Our Family
We’ve lived in Rosemount, MN, since 2004 with our three wonderful kids—Ben, Alex, and Cami. Our boys are off pursuing exciting careers in marketing and finance, while our daughter keeps us on our toes with her love of gymnastics, dancing, and bike riding.
In our free time, you’ll find us running, golfing, playing pickleball, or spending time with friends and family. We also love traveling, photography, and finding new ways to enjoy life together.
